The Georgia Gwinnett College men's soccer team is preparing to host two in-season classics as part of 10 home matches during a competitive upcoming 2026 fall schedule.
The Grizzlies, led by Head Coach
Steve DeCou, had a 13-3-4 record last season and matched their deepest postseason run in program history, with a quarterfinal round appearance in the NAIA national tournament.
This season, GGC is scheduled to face four NAIA national tournament participants and will host the Continental Athletic Conference tournament, from November 8-10, that will determine the conference's representative to NAIA postseason play.
2026 SCHEDULE
The 2026 campaign commences on the road against SCAD Savannah (Georgia) on August 21 before playing a neutral-site contest in Dalton, Georgia, against the University of Northwestern Ohio on August 27.
The team's home opener on August 31 against Southeastern University (Florida) concludes the opening month of the season.
The Grizzly Labor Day Classic will feature matches against the New College of Florida, on September 5, and last season's NAIA semifinalist MidAmerica Nazarene (Kansas), on September 7.
A road match against Campbellsville University (Kentucky) on September 11 comes before the Grizzlies host another NAIA semifinalist in the University of the Cumberlands (Kentucky) on September 19. The team also will host Cumberland University (Tennessee) on September 29. GGC defeated Cumberland 2-1 in last season's Round of 16 NAIA postseason match.
The CAC Classic in Lawrenceville will have GGC facing United States Sports University (Alabama) and Florida National University on October 10 and October 12, respectively.
The October home stand also includes matches against Thomas University (Georgia), on October 6; national tournament qualifier Lindsey Wilson University (Kentucky), on October 21; and Spartanburg Methodist College (South Carolina), on October 24.
Road matches will have the team traveling to the University of Pikeville (Kentucky), on September 25; Tennessee Wesleyan University, on October 3; and Reinhardt University (Georgia), on October 31.
