A dominant performance on the mound has Georgia Gwinnett College senior right hander
Shane Anderson being named the Continental Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Anderson struck out a career-high 13 batters across five scoreless innings in last Friday's outing against Georgetown College (Kentucky). It was his second career start. He allowed just one hit and two base runners as the Grizzlies won 9-1.

The Chandler, Arizona, native struck out the side in the first, third and fifth innings.
On the season, Anderson has a 1-0 record, three saves and a 2.70 earned run average across eight appearances. He has held opposing hitters to a .119 batting average in his mound performances.
