The Georgia Gwinnett College women's basketball team scored 70 first-half points and got contributions throughout the lineup to tally a program-record offensive output in a 115-19 victory against Fisher College (Massachusetts) to conclude the Continental Athletic Conference Classic on Saturday evening in the Convocation Center.
The Grizzlies (17-6) hit their first 10 shots to race out to a 26-1 lead four minutes into the contest. Junior

Christen Collins each connected on a pair of 3-point field goals during the early offensive surge.
GGC tallied 40 points in the first quarter behind 69.6 percent shooting, including making 8-of-13 (61.5 percent) from behind the 3-point arc.
The hosts continued their strong play in the second quarter, hitting five more 3-pointers. Freshman
Christal Collins led the way with a game-high 20 points and junior
Shayla Sandiford had a double-double performance with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Classmate
Maddie Presha also registered a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Both players achieved those strong statistics while coming off the bench.
Christen Collins scored 15 points and Hearvey added 14 points.
Eleven of GGC's 12 players supported the team by getting in the scoring column and the 12th player contributed eight rebounds on Saturday.
The team extended its winning streak to 10 straight games.

GGC made its first 10 shots to open the contest on a 26-1 offensive run in the first four minutes of the game. The team scored 40 points in the opening quarter and added 30 more points in the second period to take a commanding 70-9 halftime lead.
