Scoring 20 straight points in the second half, the No. 24-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College men's basketball team flexed its offensive firepower in defeating Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) 90-58 on Saturday evening to conclude the Continental Athletic Conference Classic, being hosted by Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida.
GGC (14-4) used a 20-0 offensive run across a six-minute period of the second half to take a commanding 86-54 lead with three minutes remaining in the contest.
Junior
Jahiem Berry achieved the program's first 30-point scoring performance, with eight 3-point field goals helping to account for 31 points.
After taking a 39-28 halftime lead, the Grizzlies opened the second half on a 14-6 run following a 3-pointer by Berry. That stretched the team's lead to 53-34 at the 15:42 mark. He scored 10 points during the early second-half surge, after posting 16 points in the first half.
Haskell Indian Nations (4-15) cut GGC's lead to 12 points, at 66-54, after a 3-pointer by Preston Olney with just over nine minutes left in the game.

That's when the Grizzlies sealed their second win of the weekend by putting 20 straight points on the scoreboard.

Drew Kramer also chipped in 12 points as GGC had four double-figure scorers.
The team made 11 3-point field goals, shot 45.8 percent from the floor and committed only five turnovers.
