Leading the Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team to an Avista NAIA World Series appearance and 56-7 record has brought Head Coach
Jeremy Sheetinger recognition as the 2025 Region Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association. This marks the fifth straight season that he received this regional honor.

The Grizzlies won the Continental Athletic Conference tournament title and NAIA Opening Round Lawrenceville Bracket, ranked No. 3 in the final NAIA poll, and advanced to the semifinal round of the NAIA World Series.
Sheetinger also was named the CAC Coach of the Year after this successful season.
GGC has posted a 279-52 record in Sheetinger's six years as head coach, with the Grizzlies posting four seasons with 50 or more wins. Overall, he has a 365-90 record in nine years as a coach. Sheetinger earned the ABCA's national NAIA Coach of the Year award and Skip Bertman Coach of the Year award across all collegiate divisions after leading GGC to the 2021 national title.
