Senior
Scott Seeker hit a pair of home runs to spark the No. 4-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team to a 12-6 road triumph against Spartanburg Methodist College in Tuesday afternoon's matchup of Continental Athletic Conference teams.
The Grizzlies (24-3) scored five runs in the top of the fourth inning, paving the way for their third straight road victory.
Consecutive two-run singles by senior
Sam Seeker and
Kyle Norton were the big hits in the productive frame.
Sam Seeker's single gave the visitors a 3-1 lead and Norton followed with a single to right field.
Scott Seeker connected on a two-run homer one inning later to stretch the team's lead to 7-1. He later added a solo home run in the seventh inning.
Norton had a 3-for-4 performance at the plate, with four RBI, from the No. 9 spot in the batting order.
Meanwhile, senior starting pitcher
Anthony Patterson III struck out seven batters across seven innings to improve his record to 3-1 this spring.

Alex Harrell scored three runs and tallied two hits.
Scott Seeker had his two homers to account for three RBI, while
Sam Seeker also had two hits that drove in a pair of runs. Senior
Braxton Meguiar added two hits and scored twice to round out the team's 12-hit offensive attack.

We had several moments that got away from us, needing better at bats, making a play, and many other things.
