Twelve different players scored as the No. 25-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer team defeated Florida National University 12-0 to close out the Continental Athletic Conference Classic on Saturday afternoon at the Grizzly Soccer Complex.
The 12 goals are a season high for the Grizzlies (8-5-3), which outscored the two Classic opponents by a 19-0 margin.
GGC gained control of the match early and had an 8-0 advantage by halftime. Sophomore
Christy Noble found the bottom right corner of the net in the fifth minute after getting an assisting pass from senior
Grace Clark and sophomore
Nova Eskelinen.
Ten minutes later, junior
Jade Perrin scored the team's second goal. She also assisted on another goal during the second half.
Later, freshman
Barbora Kadlecova found the back of the net when she headed a corner kick from Lorenz in the 19th minute.
The Grizzlies kept up the momentum in the first half when senior
Samara Dullabh and freshman
Hannah Lorenz found the back of the net just seconds apart in the 21st minute.

Dullabh's goal came when she received a long pass from junior
Kayla Maguire across the perimeter and placed the ball into the bottom right hand corner of the net. Lorenz's goal, giving the Grizzlies a 5-0 lead, came following a pass from junior
Rikke Steenhold.
Then, freshman
Alliyah Rosales found the back of the net in the 26th minute following another pass from Steenhold.
Steenhold along with freshman
Kendra Delgado each provided multiple assists to go along with one goal over 90 minutes of action.
Also getting in the scoring act were senior
Nicole Mares Rivera and junior
Salome Deneubourg. It was the first goal of the season for both players.
Mares Rivera's goal came in the 50th minute when she converted a pass from Perrin to extend the team's lead to 9-0. Deneubourg scored during the 73rd minute when she headed in a corner kick from Eskelinen.
Sophomore
Gabby Stone capped the team's scoring after receiving a passing combination from Lorenz and senior
Natalie Maguire.
GGC outshot Florida National (1-6-1) by a 30-6 margin, with 20 shots being on goal, and attempted 12 corner kicks in the contest.
