Ashley Johnson scored twice in a 74-second span early in the second half to lift No. 23-ranked Truett-McConnell University (Georgia) to a 3-0 victory against the No. 20 Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer team on Saturday evening in Cleveland, Georgia.
The Grizzlies (10-6-1) went 3-3 during the six-match road swing, with two of those setbacks to nationally ranked opponents.
After battling to a scoreless first half, Johnson opened the scoring by finding the back of the net in the 47th minute. She doubled the Bears' advantage during the 48th minute by adding a second tally of the match and 25th of the season.
Truett-McConnell (14-1-2) rounded out the scoring in the final minute as Lindsey Fowler found the back of the net.

The Bears outshot GGC by a 20-10 margin, including a 12-6 edge in shots on goal.
