The host No. 2-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan University used a six-run fourth inning for a come-from-behind 13-2 victory against the No. 11 Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team Tuesday afternoon in Athens, Tennessee.

Austin Bates lined a run-scoring double that scored freshman
Braxton Meguiar from first base.
The visitors looked to add even more runs to the lead in the top of the third inning when they loaded the bases with one out. However, a double play ended the threat, and the Bulldogs (40-3) carried that positive momentum to grab a 2-1 lead in the bottom half of the inning with a two-out double from Livan Reinoso scoring two runs.
Then came the pivotal fourth inning when Braxton Turner hit a run-scoring single. Jermayne Ward followed with a fielder's choice RBI to give the hosts a 4-1 lead. Zach Hogueisson followed by connecting on a three-run home run to widen the scoring gap.
Evan Magill added a two-run home run in the fifth inning as Tennessee Wesleyan outhit GGC 14-5 in the third meeting of the season between the nationally ranked programs.

The Grizzlies loaded the bases with one out in the top of the third inning while leading 1-0. However, Tennessee Wesleyan turned a double play to end the inning and keep the deficit at one run. In the bottom half of the frame, Livan Reinoso hit a two-run double with two outs to give the Bulldogs the lead. They added six more runs one inning later to break the game open.
