The No. 5-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team continues its road trip with a key weekend series at No. 15 Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida.
The three-game set is scheduled to begin with a doubleheader on Friday, March 11, starting at 2 p.m. before a single nine-inning contest on Saturday, March 12.
The Grizzlies (18-3) are coming off a 4-3 come-from-behind victory against Brewton-Parker College (Georgia) on Tuesday in the team's first road game of the season.
Senior
Austin Bates leads the team in multiple offensive categories. He is batting .472 with 34 hits. Freshman
Braxton Meguiar is hitting at a .409 clip and has scored 20 runs this season. He provided the go-ahead base hit in the ninth inning at Brewton-Parker.

Junior
Blaze O'Saben ranks second on the team with a .412 batting average and has driven in 15 runs. Junior
Jake Defries leads the NAIA with 35 stolen bases and rounds out the team's balanced attack with a .403 average.
On the mound, senior
Kevin Kyle ranks second among all NAIA pitchers with a 0.32 earned run average. The righthander is 5-0 and leads the team with 38 strikeouts. Junior
Rob Hamby has a 2.00 ERA and has made five starts. Sophomore
Tyler Clayton has a 2-0 record and brings in a 1.57 ERA into this weekend series.
GGC's pitching staff has posted a 2.63 ERA this season.

The Grizzlies are ranked No. 5 in the first NAIA Top 25 poll of the regular season. GGC stands 18-3 on the season and has been ranked inside the top five all season. The NAIA Top 25 poll is conducted by a nationwide panel of coaches.

CAC HITTER OF THE WEEK
Junior
Jake Defries is the reigning Continental Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week after batting .588 with 10 hits and scoring 11 runs as the Grizzlies won four of their five games last week. The infielder also drove in six runs and stole 11 bases. He posted a .696 on-base and .824 slugging percentages last week. Defries went 4-for-4 and scored four runs, with five stolen bases, in a 9-0 win against Fisher College (Massachusetts) last Saturday. Earlier in the week, he collected three hits and scored three runs in a 15-2 victory against Talladega College (Alabama).

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
Webber International (24-4) is ranked No. 15 in the first regular-season NAIA Top 25 poll. The Warriors are 19-2 at home this spring. Kenny Rodriguez leads the team with six home runs and 36 RBI while batting .415 on the season. Cristian Martin tops the team with a .426 batting average. Drake Kasparek stands 4-0 on the mound with a 1.76 ERA in six starts. Xavier Rodriguez has a 4-1 record and a 1.79 ERA after seven appearances.
