The Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team will defend its 2021 NAIA national championship with a home-heavy 2022 schedule that has 20 of the first 21 games being played at the Grizzly Baseball Complex.
Overall, the Grizzlies are scheduled to host 38 games this spring, along with the inaugural Continental Athletic Conference championship tournament, which begins postseason play and a possible berth to the NAIA national tournament.
2022 SCHEDULE

GGC, led by Head Coach
Jeremy Sheetinger, will open the 2022 season as the nation's top-ranked NAIA team after capturing the program's first national championship last spring. The team posted a 51-10 record in 2021, winning 22 of its final 23 games, including all five games at the Avista NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.
A 12-game home stand opens the 2022 season with three outings against Union College (Kentucky) on February 4-5, followed by games against Bethel University (Tennessee) and Midway University (Kentucky), February 11-12, an early-season showdown with perennial national power No. 5-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan University, February 15, and games against West Virginia Tech and Lawrence Tech (Michigan), February 18-20. Twin doubleheaders against University of Northwestern Ohio, February 26-27, close out the first month of the season.
March opens with a single game against Talladega College (Alabama), March 1, and a three-game series against Fisher College (Massachusetts), March 5-6. A busy stretch will have games against Toccoa Falls College (Georgia), Faulkner University (Alabama) and Tennessee Wesleyan, March 18-19.

GGC's April schedule features home games against Middle Georgia State University, April 5; Florida National University, April 8-9; Columbia International University, April 22-23; Brewton-Parker College, April 26; and USC Beaufort, April 29-30 in the Grizzly Arbor Day Classic.
The regular season is scheduled to conclude with a doubleheader against Fisher, May 3, before the CAC tournament comes to Lawrenceville, May 7-9.
