Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Shutout Streak Ends

LSU Shreveport took advantage of its limited shots on goal to score a 3-0 victory against No. 11 Georgia Gwinnett College in men's soccer action Thursday afternoon in Shreveport, Louisiana. The match began the team's three-match road trip.

The Pilots (7-6) found the back of the net on three of their four shots on goal in the match. The hosts got on the scoreboard in the 37th minute on a goal from Maurice Theart – snapping GGC's scoreless streak of 446:09 minutes that spanned five matches.

LSU Shreveport added goals from Adam Gonzalez in the 78th minute and Julius Williams in the final minute of the match.

The Grizzlies (7-3-1) attempted 11 shots in the match, but only three made it on goal. Sophomore Mawia Haroun and junior Karim Tmimi each had three shots to lead the team.
