The No. 3-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team has won the first two games of its weekend series against Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) after defeating the Blue Raiders 10-3 on Saturday afternoon at the Grizzly Baseball Complex.

Coach's Corner
"Our focus is always to take things one day at a time. We're now focusing on Sunday's game, and continue to grow and execute as a team. Our approach offensively was very good in today's game. We also got experience for several freshman and sophomore players late in the contest. That will help us going forward," said Head Coach
Brad Stromdahl.
Â
Turning Point
GGC executed early in the contest when sophomore
Nick Barnes hit a sacrifice fly to square the contest in the first inning. A wild pitch, with two outs, later in the inning allowed sophomore
Cam Coursey to score, giving the Grizzlies a 2-1 lead. A two-out base hit, one inning later, from Coursey extended the early lead.
