Middle Georgia State University's Colby Owens hit a walk-off single in the 11th inning to lift the No. 17-ranked Knights to a 5-4 victory against the No. 3 Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team on Wednesday afternoon.
The Grizzlies (11-4) led 4-3 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning following a sacrifice fly from senior
Brody Wofford. That's when Blake Jackson connected on a solo home run for the home team to tie the contest and force extra innings.
GGC was playing its first road game of the 2019 season and fifth game this week. The loss broke a seven-game winning streak.

Onassis Matos drove in a pair of runs in the game. He had a RBI double in the second inning and a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.
Middle Georgia State (11-3) took a 3-2 lead after pushing across two runs in the sixth inning.
