Cole Uvila continues to have success on the mound within the Texas Rangers minor league system. The latest achievement is being named to the prestigious Arizona Fall League's Fall Stars Game, presented by Bowman Baseball Cards.

The right hander is listed on the West team roster for the All-Star game, which will be played Saturday, Oct. 12, at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The Arizona Fall League features the top minor league prospects from most Major League Baseball teams.
Uvila posted a 7-3 record with six saves in his first minor league season. Five wins came with the Rangers' Class A-Advanced level team, the Down East Wood Ducks of the Carolina League. He had 85 strikeouts in 57.2 innings pitching for the level within the Rangers organization.
At GGC, Uvila helped lead the Grizzlies advance to the semifinal round of the 2018 Avista-NAIA World Series. He had a 4-2 record in 18 appearances that season, with 80 strikeouts in 55 innings. The Port Angeles, Wash., native recorded 10 strikeouts in a relief appearance against Faulkner University (Ala.) at the World Series.
